it isn't really a vaccine at all, and it would have to be repeated annually. At $900 a pop, every month of RSV season, it's really only recommended to high risk infants. Since Kaia is not teeny tiny anymore, it's no more risky than when Andrew had it. Still sucks, but not as scary.

Poor poor Kaia. No one should ever be sick on their birthday. And especially their first birthday.
I'm sorry. Poor little girl. I hope she feels better soon. Does the RSV vaccine wear off, or is it just not completely effective to begin with?

The good news- she will grow out of this. The bad news- it takes time- lots of time.

What is RSV?
RSV is the suck. it's a respiratory virus, makes it very hard for babies to breathe.
