Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto. Can the powers at be at least program McCain to smile instead of grimace? Sheesh! And why has it taken him 26 years to want to change? I was so repulsed by the obvious exploitation of human tragedy and suffering tonight. The Oklahoma City bombing?? Really. I so hope America does not fall for this crap again!
I'd bet 90% of the population's decision making is primarily motivated by fear of something. Makes a certain amount of sense, from a psychological warfare standpoint to use that as a lever upon those people. It's a low tactic, sure, but make no mistake people, they're at WAR for the HEARTS and MINDS of the American public.
Keith Olbermann's reaction and apology for NBC having to air the clips of 9/11 again. You can tell it shocked him and hit him hard.
Someone tell me what the GOP's message is. Four days of constantly attacking the Left are topped off with their candidate stating they need to learn to work across the aisle and share ideas. My fear of the Republicans has deminished somewhat thanks to the convention.
I'll say something I never thought I would have said... I don't think McCain is a bad man, or as stupid as Dubyah. I would not have wanted to flee the country with him as president UNTIL he picked Palin as his running mate. She scares the hell out of me, and the more I read about her, the more frightened I become. The thought that she would use her special needs child to get votes makes me ill.
The message is: We are the opposition party. Help us save Washington from....the REPUBLICANS! Uh, stupid say what?! They have had the presidency for the past eight years and congress for the past six! No amount of Rovian spin can make that shit make sense.
Everyone I work with is voting for dumb and dumber. It makes me ill. I even told Adam he should wait until after the election to seek employment. sigh.

I didn't watch anybody but McCain but Paula said the same thing. She couldn't believe they were still using that and using 9/11. Brother.

Jerm - I don't think they know what their message is. In fact, it seems to me that they are just all over the place.
